Aztecs Rising provides a variety of
support services through well
established community based
organizations and consultants, who are
familiar with the population and
communities that we serve. Through
these collaborations, Aztecs Rising is
able to provide a variety of services
throughout the City of Los Angeles. These services include:
- Parenting Classes
- Anger Management
- GED Preparation Educational
Support
- Individual and Family Counseling
- Tattoo removal
Aztecs Rising collaborates with the following experts:
Michelle Merchain is a
certified Anger Management
instructor and has ten years of
experience providing services.
Mrs. Merchain provided anger management
class to youth between the ages of 13
and 17 years of age in Lincoln Heights,
Rampart and Highland Park.
Christina Pacheco has
six years of experience providing Parent
Education in both English and Spanish.
Mrs. Pacheco is a certified parenting
instructor and has provided services in
the El Sereno, Highland Park, East Los
Angeles, Lincoln Heights, Cypress Park
and Hollywood.
Judith Shachory is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Ms.
Shachory provides clinical supervision to Aztecs Rising's case managers and provides
support to the organization in high-risk client cases. She also provides staff training on
handling client issues.
